IT'S MILEY!

I'm really starting to love this blog thing! Oh golly gee, damn you Rachel! By the way I had a FABULOUS time with you today! It was such a tease thought because now I miss you 10x more! We had a great day of shopping, movie watching, and sushi eating! We saw "When in Rome" with the hunky Josh Duhamel and Gossip Girl herself Kristin Bell. It was pretty good, just your average romantic comedy, but I was ready to get up and leave during the sappy parts! Haha, I guess I tend to get a little cynical at plots like that. I would love to meet one person who, half of the romantic plots happen to. The cast was great, though! Good to see my old friends Napoleon and Pedro in it! Oh, and "DANNY DEVITO! I LOVE YOUR WORK!" Haha, if you know me or the movie "Mean Girls," then you know exactly what I'm talking about. Anyhow the previews gave me some insight into what I may be watching later this year. The preview for SATC 2 looks fab and rumors of SATC 3 give me ants in my pants! Miss Miley Cyrus, whom I love, don't ask me why... I just do, will be appearing in SATC 2 and I'm pretty pumped about it! Yes, I realize that I'm 24, I'm just such a Disney aficionado. I like to think that I'm just young at heart! The new Disney "Alice in Wonderland" with Johnny Depp puts a bee in my bonnet! Anyway, Miley also stars in the new Nicholas Sparks movie entitled "The Last Song," and I think it looks good! I'm such a sucker for Sparks... you could call me a cry baby if you'd like... because I haven't made it through a Sparks book or movie without crying yet!

So yeah, I'm looking forward to that. We spent most of the day catching up about our lives and trying to figure out what we are going to do with the rest of our live, let's just say we didn't figure a thing out. We laughed a stupid amount of laughing which was much needed on my part, and hers too I think! We did however, figure out that we are much more alike than we thought... and I LOVE IT. Guilty. We are definitely going to chit chat more often, and she better come visit me in May! Though it took me a while, I finally figured out what sushi I wanted... while Rachel laughed at me, I decided on the DAT roll and the KAOS (pronounced chaos) roll and WHEW! was it spicy! but delicious!
Chad and I have been talking for a long time about making some sushi at home, and one day I hope we get around to it, because I just can't get enough of sushi! By the way, I'm really starting to miss him! I think 10 days will be the longest we have ever been apart and it's only been 6! Sheesh I'm such a wimp! MISS YOU CHAD!
He found the tennis shoes I want back in Austin and I can't wait to get back to get them and wear'em out! I haven't been keeping to my workouts since I've been home, but I have been walking and doing a little Wii Fit, so I'm not totally out of the game! My daddy went hunting today, he didn't shoot anything, but I think it was great that he got out of the house. He won't admit it, but I know he was excited about going, he hardly even slept last night. Every time he would go to bed, he would be up an hour later looking for boots, or a jacket, or something like that. He was so cute. Reminded me of the way I used to be the night before we would go to Disney World. I just finished up the Miss America Pageant on TLC, while eating ice cream, and it wasn't as glamourous as I was hoping for. Miss Alabama and Miss Florida didn't even make the top 15 and Miss Texas was out at talent so I didn't have any hometown heros to cheer for, so the rest was just for spectacle. Miss Virginia won. Meh, whatever. I didn't really think she was anything special, but I'm sure she will do great things. When I was little, I always wanted to be Miss America, I did a few pageants but never really got into it. I was top 10 in some pre-teen Florida shindig and I was first runner up, (first loser... haha..."If you aren't first, you're last! Hell, you might as well be fifth!") in Miss Fort Walton Beach High School. It was fun, but definitely not my cup of tea. My mom comes back on tomorrow, so I will probably spend the day tidying up. Man, has this trip flown by! I really wanted to make it to Mobile to see my beloved second family, the Lathan's, but it doesn't look like that is going to work out anymore. I'm SAD! I guess that means they are going to have to come see me! MISS YOU BRITT!
I am excited about The Grammy's tomorrow night too. GO LADY GAGA!!! She is so fabulous. I met her in Atlanta with my friend Sarah (whom I also miss terribly) and now I believe that we are all BFF.
So, enough rambling for today, going to go throw some laundry in the washer.
war eagle.
