So, I plan on this being a pretty boring post again. So get a snack or turn on Pandora to keep yourself entertained. I have so much to write about, but really nothing to write about. So Saturday was a pretty exciting day, well for me anyway. I always like to try new things and Saturday was the day.
Before going to Frank (see previous post), Chad and I went to the Austin Farmer's Market! This is something I've been wanting to do for soooo long! Now, this isn't your typical Farmer's Market, down the street, and open everyday... this is the real deal! It opens downtown on Saturdays from 9-1. I was so excited that I even wore overalls!!! I just love to dress up! I always have to be in theme. We walked around for a while, it was a lot more crowded than we expected. Clearly this is the place to be on Saturday morning. They had a banjo/tuba band playing some fun folk music and a lot of vendors with neat stuff. We got some crazy sort of organic coffee and it was YUMMY! Just what we needed. It was such a beautiful day! The perfect day to spend at the FARMER'S MARKET! More like a carnival if you ask me. Everyone had their dogs and children (yuck) and were running around as if SPRING HAD SPRUNG! I really hope it wasn't a tease. It's been a little chilly since, but certainly not SNOW. Here are a few snapshots from a hill, which we sat, in front of the food, and enjoyed the free smells.I wish I coulda/woulda/shoulda gotten a pic in my overalls. Thankfully, this will NOT be my last hoorah at the Farmer's Market.
Okay people. Time to let you know my 2 cents on American Idol. Last week was eh. No one really stood out to me, but whatever. Elimination rolled around and I was NOT happy. One of my favorites from the beginning, Janell Wheeler was eliminated. Not only was she the first, but she bypassed the ANNOYING squeaky country girl. UGH.
Her name is Haley Vaughn and I'm not sure how she even made it, because she ain't nothing special in my book. I liked the other girl,
(forgot her name, so I obviously liked her a lot) that they were considering putting through.

For everyone's ear's sake... they should have. ANYWAY, everyone else who left wasn't special enough to make it on my blog... maybe next week guys. Tonight's episode was alright, alright enough for me to change favorite guys... Last week's favorite ( along with all the other women in America) was, DUH, Casey James... HOTTIE.

BUT... MEET ALEX LAMBERT.
A MULLET WEARING, JIM MORRISON SOUNDIN' CUTIE.
He was awkward and weird last week, BUT THIS WEEK, he was like a whole new dude! And now, at the top of my guy list. WELCOME ALEX! I really hope he stays because I hate being wrong. DUH.
So Chad ordered some magazines from his adorable nephew Jackson, one being Entertainment Weekly and this one...

The COSMO FOR MEN. Everything he sees in it is a MUST HAVE. Including these...

Apparently there are 5 pairs of shoes all men should have and these are one of them. He literally cannot stop talking about them and I'm not sure that he has even taken them off. I love his excitement, but he's headed overboard with these. I don't get it. Maybe I should get a pair? Probably not. I'm not really a "lace up" girl. Unless it's running shoes, I'd rather have cute buckles, straps and slide ons. Like these for instance. Hopefully, with money in pocket I will be sporting these puppies ALL SPRING AND SUMMER LONG!!
SO, that is all for now. Back off to dreamland, I just realized that I was going to talk about my crazy dreams, but that will have to wait. I'm going to leave you with this. GOD BLESS TEXAS!
P.S. I'm SO over Leno. BRING CONAN BACK! TEAM COCO!
I just don't get him. He's not funny. The only thing he has going to "headlines" but I can just find that on the internet if I want. Hmph!

how was this a haiku??
ReplyDeletePS Love that you're still sporting the barnado {or however you spell it} sandals. makes me think of taylor...
read the comic- duh.
ReplyDeleteyesh. I have 2 pairs of Bernardos, and they are great from the top, but the bottoms are leather and are so SLICK, I'm typically slipping and sliding all over the place. Not cool on the ankles. but I can't help but to love these studded beauties!
