So, another day waiting for my mom has gone by and she is still not home. She spent a week with her friends, and another night in Gainesville. But now she is back "near" home but has decided, again, not to come home. She would rather stay at her friend's house and play mahjong. I haven't seen her since June. When Thanksgiving plans came around this year, she seemed somewhat offended that I did not come home, and has been begging me to come home ever since. Obviously this would not bother me if I wasn't here. Who am I to tell her not to hang out with her friends? But the fact that I am here, sort of ticks me off. And the fact that she is forcing my daddy to stay up past his bedtime isn't very nice either! AND I was supposed to go see Brittany in Mobile, but nooooooo, I was going to be a good daughter and stay and spend more time with my beloved mother. FAIL! Yeah I'm bitter, but I will admit, however, that I have been dreading seeing my mom because all she is going to do is tell me how fat I am. I, do not think that I'm fat, certainly not as in shape as I want to be (I'm working on it) but to hear it from your mother day in and day out, it starts to hurt. WHATEVER. My parent's dog, Petey, more formally known as Peter Pan, (It used to be Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, breeders are so weird, and unfortunately Tinkerbell passed last Christmas.) stinks, he just stinks and I have no idea why! I came home last week and one of the first things I did was bathe him. After he was dry... stinky again! I began doing research on the all true internet and found a remedy of clear antibacterial soap and vinegar. The vinegar is supposed to get rid of all the residue and make the dog smell fresh but again, FAIL! He smelled okay for like an hour, then stinky again. I don't know what to do! Maybe it's a "boy" thing, because Tinkers never smelled. I just want to love and cuddle him, but he is just stinky! Lucky for him he is too stinkin' cute to stay away. Here is a pic of Petey and Tink. Pete is on the left (see, he is cute huh?) and Tink is on the right. The one below is one when they were just little puppies. I love and miss you Tink! You will always be the best dog I've ever had!

Alright, enough with the negatives! Positives of the day are that I got another job interview, again for Friday, this one is with Senox, a seamless gutter corporation. I applied for a marketing position, so wish me luck!

My prediction of Lady Gaga winning album of the year at the Grammy's last night was another FAIL! I should have known that Taylor Swift would win. Not only has she won every other award known to man this year, but her "Fearless" album is great. Her songs are so personal, I feel like I know her! Apparently she dropped one of her Grammy's and it shattered to pieces. Think they will give her another? Her dress was fabulous! Her performance, however, was less than fabulous. Totally out of tune, and the fact that they put her next to Stevie Nicks made her look even worse. Sorry Tay! Hope you are better in concert! Oh and can I just say real quick that I LOVE KINGS OF LEON and I'm glad they won a Grammy but I HATE "USE SOMEBODY." The radio has completely worn it out and if I hear it again, I will go bananas. I mean, KoL has a TON of other great songs.. let's start getting those out...K?? So after spending time with a couple of friends. I have realized how much I miss them! Luckily, I think that I am starting to make friends in Austin! Yeah me! I met a young lady named Amy West at the AWC Get Smart conference I was working on and she is totally fab. We hit it off from the start, and now my recent discovery of her love for sushi has made it that much stronger! We have a date when I get back! I also have a coffee date with one of the speakers I met. Look at me, being all social and stuff! But first on the list... A JOB! So my mom, yeah you remember my mom, she is trying to steal my car away from me. Yeah it was a graduation present, but apparently, long story short, she misses not having a car and wants to get another. What does she want?

A Toyota Prius, and what do I have? You guessed it. A Toyota Prius. She has some money put away to buy a car, but not enough for a Prius. So I came up with a solution, sure she can have the car back, BUT the money she had put away gets to be a down payment for a car for me, I, then will take over the rest of the payments as a responsible adult... all this, of course, after I get a steady job. I would let you know what she thinks of this... BUT SHE HASN'T COME HOME YET! Shenanigans. I have, however, jumped the gun and have started looking for a replacement. My love for Volvos have always been present, but after renting a few and being exposed to them more lately, I'm loving them more and more. Rachel has one, and we played in it the other day and I loved it!

My first choice would be a Volvo C70 (left), I rented one and it is soooo fabulous and therefore, ME, but unfortunately, I don't, and probably wont for the next year have $40,000. So my next choice would be the S60 (top right), but after playing in the S40 (right bottom), I think I like the smaller, sportier version a little better. It reminds me of my first car, A Volkswagen Jetta. Plus the interior is the same as the C70. Prices for 2009 models are fairly reasonable as well. The only thing that stinks, like Pete, is the gas mileage. It's going to be hard to go from 45mpg to anything less for that matter. So I'll keep you updated on that situation.

Speaking of THE SITUATION, he and the Snooki (where were the rest?) were at the Grammy's last night... WHY? Don't get me wrong, it was great to see what they were wearing, which I'm still asking, "WHAT WERE THEY WEARING?" but whatevs. P.s. are Snooki and The Situation dating?Friggin' duck phone. Jersey Shore is one of my guilty pleasures, hey now, at least I don't watch the Bachelor, and I am pleased to hear that I will be entertained this fall, after they shoot the second season this summer. I wonder if they are going to replace that Angelique girl, and if so, if they will take an application from a half Asian hottie. (ME!) Well I suppose that I really don't have anything else interesting to talk about. Sorry that I was bitter, which is also a synonym for vinegary, through half of the blog, but blogs are to get your feelings out, right? Sorry that I had to take it out on you guys. Hope you enjoyed the end. Tomorrow should be better. I hope. By the way, how are you guys liking my new layout? I'm trying a larger font too. Oh and, the Nation's #5 ranked Defensive Tackle committed to Auburn today, over Georgia and Miami. Auburn recruiting has been awesome! Football season just ended and I can't wait for it to come around again!
WAR DAMN EAGLE!

Friggin Duck Phone!! AHAHAHA I LOVE IT!!! And I'm watching the Bachelor while you bash it. DANGIT
